Deluge is a BitTorrent client that allows you to download various files. The program uses libtorrent, which is a BitTorrent implementation that focuses on efficiency and scalability.
The application has a simple and pleasant interface with all main functions at sight. In order to use this tool you just need to add a torrent file and select the download location. Once you have done that, the program starts the downloading process. In addition, it offers information about the torrent’s name, size, the download progress, the speed, and the remaining time. In the lower area it displays some more details regarding the status, the files, the partners, and other options. The tool also allows you to establish download/upload limits, actualize or modify the tracker, and set the maximum number of connections.
Another useful feature gives you the possibility to create your own torrent. In order to do that you simply have to add the desired files, set the trackers, fill in some comments and the author's name. In addition to that, the Preferences tab lets you modify some other aspects, such as network, bandwidth, interface, proxy servers, cache, plugins and so on.
All in all, this is a nice tool that can be used without any difficulties. It can be quite helpful when you want to download movies or your favorite music album. Since I didn’t encounter any problems using it, I recommend the program to anyone who looks for a good working torrent downloader. However, I think the tool could have been even better with a multilanguage interface.
