Deluge is a complete and simple BitTorrent client for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. The program features a simple and intuitive user interface, very similar to KTorrent. The main window is divided in two sections, and at the bottom of the window you can find several tabs showing a lot of information about your active torrents - including the status of a download, details like name, download speed, upload speed, share ratio, seeders, peers, hash, the number of files included in the torrent and so on.
The program is fully customizable and you can set individual settings for each torrent you are downloading: location it is to be saved to, bandwidth and sharing settings, system tray integration, torrent notification (even by email) and others. What is more, it allows you to pause and resume downloads as you wish, sort torrents by name, size, seeds, etc. It also offers support for plug-ins and apart from the two included by default (Blocklist and Label) you can download as many as you want from the official website. All in all, Deluge is a very good choice for its simplicity and great customization options. |
